Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)
prepare your employees
In the event of a sudden cardiac arrest, time is critical. The first 4-6 minutes is most important in delivering a shock to save a life. The most effective and efficient way to reach a person in need is to have an AED on site which greatly improves the response time for a patient in need. The new American Heart Association statistics show that over 359,000 people die of cardiac arrest each year and unfortunately, the overall survival rate is only 9.5%. Doing CPR and using an AED in those first critical minutes can dramatically change those statistics. Seattleās survival rate is over 62% because of extensive CPR training and AED deployment.
